The Superior Plum's fruit is large with a dark red skin. The flesh is yellow, firm, meaty and of the finest quality. This fruit tree is a good pollinator for several other varieties. Pyrus ussuriensis 'Ure'
A very cold hardy, disease resistant ornamental and fruit bearing tree. More or less rounded in shape with a low branching habit that will need to be pruned from the bottom if clearance is desired. Typically grows to 18 feet tall by 12 feet wide. Has sturdy branching with glossy green foliage that turns burgundy in fall. Fruit is green-yellow, very juicy and approximately 2" in diameter. Good for eating and canning and typically ripens mid-August. 'Ure' Pear has been successfully pollinated with common varieties like 'Bartlett' and 'Golden Spice' as well as, Asian varieties and straight Ussurian pear. Developed in 1978 at Morden Research Station.

Prunus 'Pipestone'
Red - 'Burbank' x (P. salicina x 'Wolf'). A very attractive red plum with a golden blush. Released by the University of Minnesota in 1942. Sweet, juicy, yellow flesh with excellent quality. Immense sized red fruit. Good for fresh use, jam and jelly. Very hardy, ripens in August and a heavy yielder. Needs cross pollination by another red variety. Very hardy.

Early Gold Pear
A hardy pear tree with clouds of showy white flowers in spring, good fall color and consistent oval shape; small high quality greenish fruit is good for fresh eating; fallen fruit can be messy but is self-pollinating and very resistant to fire blight. It produces chartreuse oblong pears (which are botanically known as 'pomes') with hints of gold and white flesh which are usually ready for picking in early fall. The pears have a sweet taste and a crisp texture.
